Greetings Friends

November 15, 2006 by jmerrifield

We are enjoying Kingston Beach very much.  Besides the beach views, we are surrounded by trees, beautiful trees.  It really is amazing.  We certainly did not have scenic views like this in Point Cook.  Now remember Friends, if you ever visit Tasmania, make sure you contact John and I so we catch up and show or refer you to some of the wonderful sights down here.  PS:  My job is going fabulously well although I must admit I have never worked so hard in paid employment.  A bit of a shock to the system but I’m coping…

Hello!

Hi yet again.

A good week here in Hobart. Joanne is enjoying her new job. We all walked down to the beach on Show Day on Thursday. On Friday it snowed here at Kingston Beach. On Saturday we went  to the Royal Hobart Show. The children enjoyed the animals, the rides, and of course, the showbags.

 Cheers, John

Employment

October 18, 2006 by jmerrifield

Hi again,

As of Monday Joanne will be employed at the Freemasons Nursing Home working as an executive assistant to the CEO. This time she will be working for nice people, on the same wage, and gaining an RDO. So all is well that ends well.

 Cheers, John

Unemployment

October 10, 2006 by jmerrifield

Hi everyone,

Joanne resigned from her job after two and a half weeks because her boss, Professor Colin Buxton, was such a complete a***hole. Now she is busy looking for other work which I’m sure she’ll find pretty quickly.

Cheers, John

Greetings from sunny Hobart!

Hi everyone.

This is my first post from Kingston Beach, a suburb 15 minutes drive south of Hobart.  We arrived safely on Sunday.  As you can see from the picture I took at lunchtime the view is not too shabby.  Click and have a look.  Went down to the beach for coffee and icecream for the kids.  When we get some furniture I will add more to this blog.

 Cheers, John
